Anthony Morrison – starting to dig deeper in

by admin on September 9, 2009

As I stated in earlier posts I would start digging around to see what I can find out. Well I thought I would update everyone as to what I have found so far. This is by no means the last digging I will do in fact this is mostly just the start of it. I want to post this to do 2 things.

1.) They are running this infomercial constantly now. I have seen it at least 3 times this week so I hope people will start searching to find more information. Alexa shows that the infomercial is working because his traffic has went up over the past month or so.

2.) I am doing this to store information on what I have found so I can go back later and dig even more with data I already have.

First Anthony Morrison seems to have started with Cool Blue Performance I am still looking up more data for this company. However according to some documents Cool Blue Performance does not have a satisfactory BBB record and is the same address that Hidden Millionaires claims to take space in.

This address is in the document but this seems to be the street view of the “Office” which appears to be a house.

Now the domains are registered to “HM” and the address is listed as 1029 Hwy 51 SUITE F2 #65, Madison, Mississippi 39110. This address is nothing more than a mail drop. In fact Advance America Cash Advance seems to use this address as well. To prove this is a mail drop you can go to http://www.loopnet.com/property/15616248/1029-Highway-51-North/ and scroll down to space F-2 which is listed as currently a shipping and copy center. I would guess that #65 is the mail box inside. The name of the company that is renting the space is called Nick Clark Office Partners. You can find more information for them at http://www.merchantcircle.com/business/Office.Partners.601-607-7722.

If you can dig up more information as always post it here so we can spread the word. You should really read the document that is a email back and forth with the BBB and a reporter for CBS Atlanta who is also calling them out as a scam.

Just some further digging if you go check out http://www.madison-co.com/elected_offices/tax_assessor/display_parcel.php?pn=072E-16D-024/00.00&street_name=Brookside%20Pl you will find the deed information for the house at 128 Brookside Place, Madison Mississippi 122 does not exist in the Registrar of Deeds which leads me to believe he used a empty lot as the address.

FBB June 1, 2010 at 8:20 am

What do you mean the deed doesn’t exist? It does and seems to be owned by Jim and Sheila Morrison. His parents maybe? Would be funny if he was running his businesses from his bedroom at mom and dads. :-)

You can get a good view of the house if you use Bing Maps and use the Aerial view.

I bought the book or the package
and I was getting phone calls
And I spoke to someone and when said I could not afford to give them creditcard with atleast 3000.00 he was so quick to say goodbye

Terry October 20, 2009 at 5:09 am

They are currently running this scam on Fox business “news” – national cable. The same Fox “news” that lies every day that it’s “fair and balanced” even after owner Rupert Murdoch conceded he has a political agenda. Of course this has been obvious to most Independents for over ten years. Fox owner Murdoch hired Nixon’s Roger Ailes, infamous for spreading lies about political opponents. Ailes hired the worse of the worse – Reagan’s Oliver North, Bush’s Karl Rove while Bush Jr. hired Fox’s Tony Snow.
Other networks may not be much better, but at least they don’t stare millions of people in the face and lie that they are “fair and balanced.
As John Stewart, Chris Aable and Jack Black (and others) have said for years:
“Fox news remains unfair, imbalanced and unashamed.”
First they lied about “great economic times ahead” under Bush – right before the market crashed last October, 2008, and now Fox stoops to new lows with this sort RipOff BS…..I wouldn’t be surprised if Fox hires Anthony Morrison next – after all, they shamelessly just added the habitually lying Glenn Beck and Mike Huckabee to their list of “fair and balanced” partisan tools.

Ana April 25, 2010 at 11:24 am

not related to the issue….

JimDean August 10, 2010 at 5:36 am

Very related to the issue – Fox “news” has not only allowed scammers like this to advertise, but Sean Hannity has personally endorsed them on both his TV and radio show along with gold scams, offering them a “free autograph coin book”. I’m a Republican, and all the finger pointing in the world doesn’t take away from the issue that Fox is often an embarrassment when they frequently blur the lines between “news” and reality.

Tony Morrison July 29, 2011 at 8:17 pm

Not related at all. Stfu please

baileypc June 12, 2010 at 1:48 pm

You spent your whole post bashing Fox News- this is a post about Anthony Morrison you know. But your own bias / blindness and ignorance cannot go without comment. Left learners like yourself claiming to be independent love to take every chance they can to bash the Right and Fox News. One of the most interesting statements you made was that Fox “commentaries” are liars and have a political agenda/bias. Hello! You know that CASUE THEY DIDN’T LIE ABOUT WHO THEY ARE! Name ONE other station that is up front about their bias; CNN, ABC, CBS, MSNBC? No, none of them! As an Independent myself, at least I know what angle Fox News is coming from allowing me to omit the bias and retain the info I choose to. All other stations don’t allow that! They are not just liars they are deceptive which takes reporting to a whole new level of lying- its called Propaganda!

aaron June 27, 2010 at 5:11 am

You are obviously biased and not an Independent so you being a hypocrite by accusing FOX of being liars when you lie about your political views. FOX is the #1 news network for a reason buddy. Some of the reporters are too biased for my opinion like Hannity. I enjoyed the show when it was Hannity and Colmes since it was a republican verse a Democrat. Overall I truly feel that FOX news is the most honest of any of the network news channels and that is why they DOMINATE all the ratings.

matthew nadu September 10, 2010 at 2:42 pm

Easy guy the commercial’s on Versus right now. That’s owned by Comcast. Plus the market was fine until July 2008 when the Obama campaign began saying that the market was going to crash. What happened? People began pulling out, he spread this imaginative hysteria that became a reality. Why would you tell a country that the market is going to crash? That’s counter productive. Just like now he’s trying to use the war as means to cover up the still broken economy, a war which he originally said was pointless before he praised Bush in his address last week. What has Obama done to increase jobs and jump start the economy? Nothing, He’s draining all our funds to maintain state and federal jobs when they are the jobs that are sucking this nation dry.

Ayasha October 13, 2010 at 8:10 pm

Dear Terry,

I thought the subject was Mr. Morrison…

PoliSciGuy January 29, 2011 at 11:49 am

Matt, you OBVIOUSLY have little or no understanding of what is TRULY happening in the world around you so you base your opinion on the remarks/comments of others, and from the sound of it they also haven’t a clue. 1at of all the market WAS NOT “fine until July 2008….” if you had investments as in stocks, you would know that. The Dow & NASDAQ were in a STEADY decline beginning September 2007 & it continued to decline without a STEADY rise until early 2009, but NEVER “CRASHED”. Obama had NOTHING to do with this. It was major Companies such as AIG, loosing their belts that had the most traumatic effect on the market because they INSURED most of the money/credit lines out there and with them possibly going under the US companies were no longer a “safe” investment world wide. Because Obama did bail them and others out, saving them form absolute destruction, he did the same for our economy. He has also NEVER tried to “cover up our broken economy” he was saying it was broken way before anyone wanted to admit it. Then those same people; like yourself, place the blame on him. You should know what it is you write about Sir and at least have some validity to your statements

Vee November 8, 2011 at 11:49 pm

Yea cant seem to find anything to say… I’m still researching

Ruthie September 3, 2011 at 12:48 pm

Terry,

Really come on now. You used this scamtime information on Anthony Morrision to spread your liberalism… I don’t know anything about Anthony’s program and I don’t care, however, I do know something about Fox News and for that matter CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS and all network out there selling air time. It has nothing to do with the product so what are you talking about “spreading lies”, you turn it around to a political personal view. Please CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS all those station do exactly the same thing you are accusing FOX of doing. So Terry, chill out and be responsible for you; we all are accountable for our actions and decisions and eventually the consequences can be good or bad. You decide. Have a nice day!

Doctor Olds October 21, 2009 at 2:01 am

Stay far away from Anthony Morrison and his band of Traveling Gypsy Con Artists.

My home town Atlanta welcomed them and see how they (CBS Channel 36 News) were treated. The investigation was a real tell all and shows that anything Anthony Morrison is involved in is a scam.

Hm, I just saw the Advertising Profits from Home on Hansen Report and Mark Victor Hansen said that because of a “special arrangement” made with Anthony Morrison it only costs $19.99 and it came with a DVD along with the 2 books mentioned. The first testimonial was his dad Roger M, followed by Dwight H, Halie C, Linda J, and Steve B. I watched it and was thinking about participating in it and I didn’t want to be caught in a scam like I almost was with Vector. So I googled it and realized that it was another scam. Good thing i didn’t call!

Robin July 7, 2010 at 1:30 am

Oooooh I just saw this on The Hansen Report, and I too was intriqued! Tonight only it is $19.95!!! Save 4 cents since Mariano’s post. Me being a bit skeptic and remembering the old saying, “If it is too good to be true it probably isn’t true”.
I googled “Hansen Report” and found Anthony Morrisons name all over the place! Be carfeul out there. Research everything before you ever spend your money!

Mr. T. December 14, 2009 at 4:44 am

I for one, won’t buy this program after seeing my researched info. But WOW Terry! Your above statement is over 3/4 long about another subject other than the one being outlined. It seems you have watched Fox News, and it’s Business Channel also. But you also seem to only say that Fox News lies all the time, when this should be about the A. Morrison product. I for one have seen it on many other channels like NBC, etc…

So what’s your point? You must have your own agenda, lie spreading, fear mongering notions twirling around that head of yours.

It also seems to me Terry, that you seem to just have a hatred for someone with a different point of view. For you to think that MSNBC doesn’t have a Political bias and agenda, and has never lied, is total naivete on your part. You sound more like a blogger hired to trash opposition voices wherever you may roam on the net, and make them out to be bafoons. Better luck next time.

Robert December 27, 2009 at 7:31 am

Terry, a word of advise, NEVER mix politics with real world issues. you’ll get the kind of response Mr. T gave you. I thank Matt for making the article, i found it through my research about this anthony guy, and it was the last nail in the coffin on my final decision of not to fall for it. news corporations (any and all) aren’t necessarily about ‘protecting american people.’ they are exactly what they are, corporations, businesses. and what does it take to run a successful business? Money. people like anthony, invest the scammed money into these info-mercials, and offer it to the corporations for a ridiculus sum of money that the news corporation can’t refuse, enter into a contract with anthony, and voila, me and you see it on TV. then the cycle starts over again.

i’m ignoring all “business opportunity” infomercials from now on, and i suggest anyone who reads this comment do the same. there’s no such thing as a “give me $20, and i’ll give you the tools you need to be successful” business. the $20 is a sales gimmick to get you in the door. EVERY TIME, NO MATTER WHO OR WHAT THE BUSINESS IS OFFERING, you will end up paying several hundred, and up into the thousands out of pocket. think about it, why would any good sales person offer you the chance to make millions for just $20. if they did that, they’d be creating thier own competition, thus driving thier profits down. and nobody in thier right mind would want that. the real success comes from within, and that my friends, is free. just some insight and advise to anyone looking this crook up, that’s all.

Sara March 31, 2010 at 10:39 pm

Last night I saw scam artist Anthony Morrison on the Hansen report.

The infomercial was aired on the Comcast News channel. Comcast is now partnered with General Electric.

The CEO and chairman of GE is Jeffrey Immelt a liberal democrat who supports Obama and now works with him.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Electric

In Feb. 2009 Immelt was named to Obama’s economic advisory board.

http://www.broadcastingcable.com/article/173718-Immelt_Named_To_Obama_s_New_Economic_Advisory_Board.php

So, I think that the liberal media is just as guilty as any other media in accepting this guy’s infomercial.

scammers beware April 20, 2010 at 2:35 pm

This guy is full of BS, and I ain’t talking a degree. I ordered the book for $19.95 and I read the first two pages and threw it in the trash. To add insult to injury, Richard Noggin charged my credit card for times for $29.95. Stay away from all these so called Guru’s, They are all thieves………Period!!

igor July 11, 2010 at 11:45 am

You need just call to your CC and and cancel charge.

dumbasses beware! May 15, 2011 at 6:58 pm

Everything is about money!!!! Politics and SCAMS are the SAME thing!!!! Are people that stupid they need to research an infomercial to find out its NOT real???? IGOR, obviously you have never dealt with a CC company! they are also out to make money as well and do NOT care what you are charged, so long as they get you into debt…Since we’re on the subject of politics and OB(S)AMA he’s like any other politician. A cheat, a liar, murderer, thief, drug addict, alcoholic…you get the message! NO politician can’t be BOUGHT!!!! EVER!!!! Why would a government for the” people” bail out million dollar companies, but then send our jobs overseas and use our SS, UC, Medicare and various other agencies to” help” us in order to pay off all the other countries that hate us to begin with…just baffles my mind how idiotic people are!!!!!!!!

scammers beware April 20, 2010 at 2:36 pm

Intelligus_Maximus July 24, 2010 at 5:12 pm

LOL! Richard Noggin, you say? What’s the nickname for Richard? Dick isn’t it? And what’s the other word for noggin, as in “I stood up too soon and bumped my noggin”? Put those two words together and you’ll see who REALLY charged your credit card.

I’m not trying to make fun of your plight. Just trying to open your eyes, that’s all. I’m with Igor; just call your credit card company and tell them your card has been fraudulently charged.

William April 27, 2010 at 4:26 am

Just curious… If this an “illegal scam” pyramid scheme or the like, shouldn’t there be a law in place holding any television station who airs the program be held partially responsible an possibly charged and or fined for doing this? I for one am tired of seeing the “get rich quick” crap on late night paid programing. I think these television stations and networks should be held responsible for what they are broadcasting whether they created it or not… it is coming from them and they are profiting from it…

kent bigalow April 29, 2010 at 12:19 pm

Simply this – why do tv stations allow these kind of infomercials??

Doris May 2, 2010 at 1:57 pm

To William; I support free press. The public must be on their toes and sort the lies from the truth. Too many laws will silence and weaken the individual.

Jim August 4, 2010 at 7:23 am

Real clever. Go to a website trying to expose scams, and peddle your own scam. People, this posting is no different than the scam commericals you have seen on tv. Be logical, if you found a home buisness that worked great, why would you tell eveyone else how to sell what you are selling? You would lose potential business. To get you to believe them even more, they try to establish a “moral” background. Would a devoted christian scam you? I won’t answer that. Don’t let these people con you in a weak moment. Many good people are hoping to find a way to survive today. First step, stay away from any scam like this. There are so many ways to get loans for college through the government. Go back to school, and you will make more money in your lifetime, and you will be better off. Anyone can go to college, maybe not to Harvard, but anyone can go to school, you just have to want it. There are a lot of good online programs for people who work full time. Those are not scams from established colleges. The person who started this discussion did it to expose scam artists and keep them out of buisness.

Just a guy October 26, 2010 at 4:19 am

“Would a devoted christian scam you? I won’t answer that.”

No, but a person with no moral values would use the christian values to scam you. Saying that you are a christian does not meen that you are one. But that would be a great way to take one piece of anything and assume that this person is a christian. Happens with bible thumpers on TV all the time. For cryin’ out loud go to church and stop to listen. It is tougher to believe in nothing than it is to believe in the Bible. Read the book of Daniel and look at Gog and Magog. Find out where those places are and what it predicts. Pretty interesting. Bible predictions are pretty amazing.

Ruth December 5, 2010 at 7:14 am

Love it! I came to show my instincts were correct when I heard this Anthony Robbins who wanted to help make me rich…… Right~~~ Then Jason tells you to email him for information on a REAL home business. This struggling, new father, husband, seminar student who made…..7g his first month (hint),,, who invested his income tax return (I would think it would have gone on diapers and formula before it was received) to get in on a higher lever (MLM)… and after being told NOT to be taken in by this guy…… NINE more ask for info.

People! There IS no FREE lunch. Stop looking for the get rich plan and do what the real millionaires did. Get off your behind and work. These scammers are making money because they fill us with promises that are no more than a fairy tale. They are no more than “legitimate” thieves.

Judy December 9, 2010 at 1:57 pm

After I bought Anthony’s book my life has never been the same. Professional Marketing International called me because I bought the book. Then they talked me into paying $10,550 for the affiliate marketing program they have. I told them I did not know anything about marketing. He said I would have a trainer to help me, give me assignments, & that I can call when I have a question. He said that I would be in business for myself but not by myself. I would have help all along the way with my coach that I could call or email anytime. He told me I could call him anytime. He said I would not lose money. He told me that I could charge this on my credit card & I would make enough money by the time the 1st payment was due that I could make the payment. (No specific amount & I did not know how much a payment would be on $10,550.) My credit card was charged within hours on the same day, that was 4/6/10. As of today 12/6/10 I have made less than $14. plus all the money I spent on running ads on Facebook, Yahoo, and Google. And one of the first things he told me was don’t read your book if I haven’t already because it would be less confusing when I start my training. My trainer will take me through each step. I can’t make any money, I can’t get my money back, the amount of stress this has caused is unbelievable, having to make monthly payments for something I was talked into that has sorry service, trainers that don’t train you right, and a business that will nit return your calls. I am losing money each day trying to do affiliate marketing.

sergio June 27, 2011 at 7:11 am

OMG Judy I feel so sorry for you but your testimony exposing this Anthony scam is the most compelling. Many thanks for sharing

DBMedia July 29, 2011 at 11:09 pm

Look people. I can show you how all this affiliate marketing is done, and I will do it for free. And for those that say “it sounds too good to be true… And “why would he help you, you would be competition, etc” , guess what… It’s impossible to create competition doing this type of marketing. You are advertising for other companies.. They give you a link, you post it on your blog, you get paid for a sale. Simple.. I can take it a step further and show you how to get paid on the other end too. It works, and I will PICK people from here that I want to work with. If you are interested, visit benjaseo.com, and email us from there.

Thank you for all the honest comments to the lies and misleading people out there like me, the TV said buy the book for only 19.95 plus s/h well got my card all ready by the end of this phone call ended up paying $246.80 and that doesn’t enclude all the up comming hidden costs of over anywhere from 2 to 4,000.00 the reason people that sell these products is to give out a false hope that we fall into a quick get rich scam and thats what it ends up being just a scam! If you go on line and read things like buy for only $1.99 to 19.99 its too good to be true! From now on im going to read reviews and check in on the BBB Site to see if its worth buying into, again thank you so much for looking into the reality of hidden costs.

I think your an internet marketer making cash off the coat tails of other guru’s. Morrison even shows in his book how to make boku buks just the way you are doing it.
I think your the con artist not morrison.
So what if he still hasnt had puberty or still its count chocula and plays with hot wheels cars on a track.

Anthony Morrison is JEWISH SCAM ARTIST. Just like Kevin Trudeau is a JEWISH SCAM ARTIST. That is why you can’t find anything about Morrison on wiki, which is edited by JEWS; they protect their own. Both of these schmucks are in the business of fleecing the unsuspecting goyim for lots of money. The jewish Torah states that this kind of deceptive behaviour is okay, as long as it is carried out against gentiles, and not fellow jews. Get educated America!

I’m watching the commercial for the first time on TV right now. I’ve been taken for a ride a couple of times before (Russ Whitney was one), and this guy Anthony Morrison sounded great; almost too good, really, so here I am checking it out and I’m glad I did. These scanners are very good; I’m afraid of them now, actually. I won’t even go to a free seminar anymore. The sales skills on these guys is scary. I think the important thing is thatvif you want your own business, build it yourself; that way you know you won’t get ripped off. Don’t think you’ll be safe using someone else’s system, because chances are that at least part of the money that they make is going to be coming out of your pocket, regardless of what they tell you before you sign the dotted line; by the time you get to that point, they’ve already sold you and it’s too late for you. They’re professional liars.

Raplh, anti-semitism is outdated, stop transplanting a personal transgression or indirect offense to an entire people group.

Anywho…

I watched Anthony on TV for the Hansen program. His style of approach is “Buy from me, i’m being honest about my product.” For the most part, he is. He says it’s not a get rich scam. It’s not, but that doesn’t stop people from assuming it is, then being upset with “failure.” It’s a nice little trick I like to call “Lying Honestly,” He is attempting to distinguish himself from other “sellers” by playing on his “honesty.” He IS being honest, only because you’ve already heard any lie he could come up with, and telling the truth makes you more likely to buy from him.

He also says you don’t have to sell, “no selling” blah blah. Selling is GOOD. Think about it. He’s not actually using his own product anymore. He’s SELLING it to YOU. In fact, he was never using his “product” to begin with. His initial “product” was getting other people to buy something from someone else. And ANYONE can do that. In fact EVERYONE DOES. Many of us do it EVERY DAY.

For example: Your mother says that Crock Pots are simply “the best” and you must buy one. So you do. She SOLD YOU SOMEONE ELSE’S PRODUCT. The only difference is that Anthony is getting a check for it. Why doesn’t she? Why don’t YOU?

I will leave with this:

First. There is NO FREE LUNCH. Someone MUST PAY. Somehow, Someway.

Second. A SHORT CUT SILL BLEEDS. Slowly, and almost unnoticeable, but STILL it BLEEDS.

Third. EDUCATION IS KEY. Unlock your doors with KNOWLEDGE.

Fourth. READ. It makes you SMARTER.

Fifth. GIVE BACK. Greed can be seen from miles away, but selflessness is recognized worldwide

Remember: While lunch has a price, information does not. Where a stranger will make you pay, a friend will teach you freely.

PS: NEVER trust the intangible until you see it in action for yourself, with your own eyes, and as-it-happens. CERTAINLY be WEARY of products from TV Infomercials. Physical or otherwise.

I’m only going to make one simple, very strong suggestion here. I’m an accountant, most of my clients are small businesses and you’d be surprised how many people out there can get sucked into these types of scams, you certainly are not alone. The one thing I tell everyone is a fairly simple rule of thumb, simply check any and every company’s rating with the better business bureau, online at http://www.bbb.org . If there’s a poor rating, numerous complaints, or no information at all, don’t buy anything from them, end of story. It’s really that simple. There’s no legitimate successful companies running constant infomercials that wouldn’t be registered with the Better Business Bureau, so if they’re not registered, they’re likely to run this scam for a year or so, then just move on to the next scam. So if the Bible School guy on here emails you and it’s a Fortune 500 company as he speaks of, well start at bbb.org, take care.

Yes, Advertising Profits from Home appears to be the gateway for them to try to sell you the Hidden Millionaires package or one of the other 3k to 5k items they are hawking. Thanks for your comment
