Comment Policy
I would like to take a few minutes to talk about leaving comments on Scam Times. I want to the readership understand where I stand on comments and what I will and will not allow.
I love comments on this blog
Comments are as important as anything I write myself. They add knowledge and a community feel. If you want to comment you are more than welcome. Feel free to say what is on your mind.
I delete spam
I have spam filters in place which automatically catch the majority of automated spam comments. I don’t put up with it, and I do not feel my readership should either. If any slips through the filters I will delete it.
Relevant links in comments are great
If you leave a comment and the link you leave has no relevance to the post your commenting on it could be deleted. However if you have a relevant link it will be accepted.
Signatures in comments
I believe a lot of signatures are spam however I will not delete comments with signatures as long as the comments you write a relevant and added something to the conversation.
Comments are your reputation they can build it or tear it down. They are a permanent record of who you are and what you stand for.
